Opportunity is the topic of the 26th of 4,000 profound statements from the Akashic Records by Aingeal Rose. Questions to the Akashic Records about Life and Opportunity
Q: Can future choices affect the past or the present?
A: All choice impacts everything, so the answer is yes, but its not only that present choices impact the whole. You see, it’s not a linear picture; it’s a spherical picture. The past, present and future are all contained in a sphere. They all interact with each other at the same time. That's what is actually happening; so any choice you make impacts all the levels of opportunity.
Q: Does a soul-plan include when and how the body dies?
A: Source says it is an outline. It is an outline that has many probabilities contained within it. In other words, the soul would like to accomplish a particular level of mastery in a life, maybe in more than one, but there are multiple ways that can happen. And of course there is choice in between, so not all soul plans get completed in a life. Some finish the contract early and go beyond it, and stay here, and others don't get the opportunity to complete it at all.
As far as death goes, there are soul contracts that decide a particular day or time to go. Some will pick a particular way to go, and that can be related to how they want to balance karma for themselves. That can be part of it, but its not the way it is across the board.
There are many souls that come that have open-ended. They will have different opportunity in life to leave, and part of the choosing in those times may have to do with the mastery they are trying to achieve. What that means is, lets say you are a soul that is being challenged with difficulties in this life, and you come to a place where those challenges lead you to an illness and you are left with the decision do you leave now and not achieve the mastery that your soul set out, (which would be fine too, by the way, there is no judgment in Source!) or do you stick around and try to figure a way to heal a particular illness. Is that part of your mastery?
So, you can see there is a lot of leeway here, and it means there are unlimited opportunities in life and life is an unlimited opportunity.
